Overall University Rankings 2007

Here we present our results for the InterStudent University Rankings 2007. These results are a composite for the institution as a whole. They don't take into account how the university performs in a particular subject, so if you are looking for performance in a distinct subject you may want to check the ranking by subject.

The rankings are based on a combination of various factors that we take into account before generating the rankings. These include:

  • Student to staff ratio - How many there are of them to each of you.
  • Staffing score - based on the teaching staff in each subject.
  • Entry requirements - What it takes to get a place.
  • Spending per student - How much they spend on educating you.
  • Added value score - How well they convert your average A-levels into an excellent degree.
  • Job prospects - Will you get a job at the end of the course?
  • Inclusiveness - How well do they recruit ethnic, disabled and mature students?
  • Feedback - We also take into account any feedback given to us directly by students.
