Drink: Student Centre bars cheap - £1.50+ pint lager.

Nightlife: Range of Student Centre events, club nights from R'n'B, hip hop to rock and live bands; plus film, quiz and theme nights.

Locals: Fine.

Sports: Gym facilities and instructor on campus. Support available for international-level athletes. Excellent local facilities.

Travel: Good public transport. Buses and taxis both cheap.

Jobs: Available in SA. Good service in careers service (Scope).

Best features: New library and Student Centre: great atmosphere. And worst: Location of first year halls (but new ones planned).
