Divided into two campuses: John Anderson Campus is main campus in the heart of Glasgow; Jordanhill, the education faculty is an attractive green-field site on the western fringe.

Transport links are excellent - John Anderson is on many bus routes, under five minutes from Queen Street station, Buchanan bus station and Glasgow subway. Jordanhill well-served by buses and local trains. Also, free regular bus service between campuses.

Modern, sought-after accommodation on campus houses some 1500 students. Students also rent flats in city centre, Dennistoun (to the east) and in the West End.

Campus has careers and employment service, eating outlets, bookshop, sports centre, swimming pool and, of course, the extremely active Students' Union.

Union is largest in Scotland, with ten levels of bars, eating outlets, support services, activities, clubs and sports teams; also one of city's best venues (capable of holding 800).

Services directed at mature and international students. Relatively large number of postgrad students adds to student mix. Large proportion of students from west of Scotland, although this is nicely complemented by students from over 1000 nations.
