Based at Riccarton Campus, just outside Edinburgh on a beautiful, leafy estate with many striking features; easily reached from town by bus.

All new students offered on-campus accommodation (good quality; full-board or self-catering). Campus can be quiet at weekends but close to one of the most exciting cities in Europe, host to the world-renowned festival.

Many international students and mature students. Numerous societies affiliated to the sports union and a wonderful sports centre; shop, library, bank, bookshop, hairdressers also on campus. Mix of courses and relatively easy to change course if you want to. Union drop-in advice and support centre, bars, catering and a club; lots of ents - live bands, comedy, karaoke. Many active student societies offer something for everyone.

Edinburgh is a student city with a fantastic clubbing scene; caters for everyone, whether gay, straight, alternative, rock, the age-old classic cheese etc. Many student deals in pubs, cinemas, theatres; reciprocal use of other unions. A great combination of city nightlife and a peaceful campus.
