Scottish Agricultural College (SAC) Aberdeen Campus - Student View
Situated just 5 miles from Aberdeen city centre, the beautiful Craibstone Estate is home to SAC's Aberdeen campus. Courses include agriculture, leisure with sport and recreation, countryside management, rural business management and (new in 2004) sustainable environmental management.
Postgraduate courses in organic farming, agri-business management and food business management. Staff/student relations are excellent and small class sizes mean that all the staff know you by name - and notice if you are not in lectures!
Relaxed working atmosphere on campus. Library (constantly updated) and computing facilities both excellent.
Aberdeen SAC students also have access to Aberdeen University libraries and sporting facilities, clubs and societies. All-weather 5-a-side pitch, gym, sauna and 18-hole golf course on campus. The on-campus bar is a popular place to start the night off before heading into the town.
In Aberdeen itself there are plenty of things to do, eg ice skating, ten pin bowling, cinemas and lots of good shopping. Surrounding countryside is beautiful and provides the setting for hill walking, climbing, winter sports, history tours, game and sea fishing.
