Eats: College refectory value for money; also SU snack area.
Drink: SU bar cheap; pint from £1.50 (loads of offers).
Nightlife: SU cheap weekly ents programme eg Lush, celeb DJs; final year and graduation balls; rag and freshers' weeks and lots of live music.
Locals: Tolerant. Best to avoid Angel Place at night.
Sports: Good facilities on and oft campus.
Travel: Train and bus services to Birmingham (1 hour).
Financial help: Available for those with real problems; also loans and advice from college and SU.
Jobs: Plenty locally, in and out of term time.
Annual living costs: The minimum amount students say you need to live on each year (covering all living expenses but excluding tuition fees) is £6264.
Best features: Friendly campus and SU.
And worst: Dead at weekends; road systems and parking are troublesome.
