Trinity - Student View
Right in the middle of Oxford, with attractive buildings and beautiful gardens; more than your average amount of open space for an Oxford college.
All the accommodation is good and you are looked after for the duration of your course; rents are about middling for Oxford and pay-as-you-go for food (a more flexible arrangement than in some colleges). The cooking facilities on site aren't brilliant but there are fridges for each room and one fully fitted kitchen.
The library has 3 big advantages: students have their own keys, so can stay up all night writing essays if they want to; the librarian is friendly and helpful; and there is a brand new electronic sign-out system, the first in Oxford!
The beer cellar is a great place for keeping a finger on the college pulse and the staff there are friendly too. Trinitarians find their way into all university societies. Everyone who wants to can get involved in college events, including informal concerts, summer lawns plays, JCR table football tournaments and debates.
Small enough for everyone to know everyone else; introverts can find a sense of family and extroverts can make a big splash!
