Trinity - Student Life

Housing: Cheap accommodation on-site for first 2 years, well-subsidised off-site for 3rd year.

Eats: College food very good (brilliant chef). Morton's Baguettes and Hassan's gourmet kebab van in the same street.

Drink: Beer cellar cheap and relaxed; very close to most popular student pubs (King's Arms, Turf, White Horse); Park End Club cheap on Wed nights.

Nightlife: Loads of social societies; Beer Cellar popular; 3 musical events a term; more non-music events (eg quizzes). Walking distance to student clubs.

Locals: Find one if you can! No real problems.

Sports: Squash courts on site; average facilities (bit far to go). Good ethos (participation and fun - ie lose a lot).

Travel: Some travel grants.

Financial help: Good possibilities.

Jobs: Banned during term apart from a few jobs in college. Best stick to holiday work, especially in summer.

Best features: Sense of community; great facilities; great students.
