Housing: All first years live in college (rooms from basic to full ensuite; all good standard and with internet provision); finalists in GAB; second years live out (JCR and college give help finding this).
Eats: Three meals a day in Hall; formal or informal dinner every night except Saturday. Plenty of reasonably priced places to eat nearby; kebab van outside college door.
Drink: Lively college bar run by the legendary Len: prices from about £1.50 per pint.
Nightlife: Pembrokians regularly pack out nearby Filth, the Purple Turtle and Park End as well as the weekly Thursday mass outing to the Bridge. Regular parties in and out of college organised by ents committee.
Locals: Unfriendly, but our central location means no serious problems.
Sports: Rowing! Own sports grounds; very strong rugby, football and cricket teams, champion hockey and ice hockey teams. Free pool table in the JCR.
Finance: Good college fund, university fund and very generous JCR fund and vacation grants.
Travel: In the city centre so all within walking distance - bike recommended, not essential - storage available. Cheap bus fares.
Jobs: Discouraged if not impossible in term time; most students work part-time in holidays.
Informal name: 'Broke.
Best features: The fantastically warm and friendly atmosphere.
Worst features: High cost of living.
