Founded: 1427; women undergraduates first admitted 1980.

Admission: No undergraduates admitted for archaeology & anthropology, biology, botany, classics, experimental psychology, fine art, geography, geology/earth sciences, human sciences, metallurgy & science of materials, music (except for the organ scholar), oriental studies, zoology, theology, PPP.

Scholarships: Various for students once in residence. Book grants awarded annually, available to all students.

Travel grants: Up to £250 for undergraduates.

Library & information services: Aims to provide all essential texts for undergraduate disciplines and most texts for graduate taught courses. College IT and library services converged. Ratio 1:30 workstations to students. 16 computers with access to library and internet, open 24 hours/day; full-time computing officer plus student officers. Most student rooms have ethernet access to university and beyond.

Eating arrangements: Meals in hall; also snacks in bar, teas in JCR/MCR.

Gate/guest hours: Gate closes at 7-8 pm during term, college members have keys.

Other college facilities: Playing field, squash court, multi-gym; music practice rooms; bar; games room. Computer rooms open to all members.

Accommodation: Accommodation for all undergraduates who require it; almost all students in college. Charges around £88.50 per week, term time only. No first degree students live at home.

Term-time work: College agreement required for term-time work; some available in the Development Office.

Financial help: Grants and interest-free loans for students in financial difficulties. Commemoration Fund, Keith Murray Fund.
