Eats: Food cheap in college. Locally, St Giles (greasy spoon), G&D's icecream, Husseins kebab van, Brown's (rich relations' treat).
Drinks: Large medium-priced, busy college bar, wide choice of beers. Parkend Club has 50p a pint nights.
Nightlife: Cheap, cheesy, weekday Oxford student scene, different club each night. London accessible by cheap bus (24 hours). University drama production; excellent independent cinema.
Sports: Loads at all standards; especially strong in rugby (male & female teams).
Travel: College and industrial travel scholarships. Good road and rail connections; close to London.
Hardship fund: University and college schemes for hard-up students.
Jobs: Well-paid conference work; term time jobs in library and bar.
Best features: Friendly, large and diverse.
