Founded: 1571; women undergraduates first admitted 1974.
Admission: Undergraduates not admitted to anthropology, archaeology, fine art, oriental studies, materials, ancient history, computation & mathematics, earth sciences, theology.
Scholarships: Various scholarships and grants; Sankey scholarships (towards expenses of being called to the Bar). Study abroad: Formal exchange links with Trier, Germany.
Travel grants: A number for travel to various parts of the world; Dodd Benefaction for vacation travel abroad.
Eating arrangements: Continental/cooked breakfast, cafeteria lunch and dinner, and set dinner in hall.
Gate/guest hours: 8 am to midnight.
Other college facilities: Library, bar, music room, 3 squash courts, sports field, fitness rooms, IT rooms.
Accommodation: All undergraduates guaranteed college accommodation for their whole course; some rooms in college, most in flats outside. Average charge in college £1940 pa including heat and light. No first degree students live at home.
Term-time work: Students may work in college bar or library, but for limited number of hours and with permission of tutor and senior tutor (small number believed to work).
