Eats: On-campus food reasonably priced; in city, students spoiled for choice; huge number of restaurants and cafes.

Drinks: 400+ pubs, bars and restaurants in city; prices vary dramatically. SU bars and many others have minimum tariff pricing scheme (drinks prices minimum of £1.50).

Nightlife: Number of official uni student nights at variety of venues, eg Outline at Long Island on a Tuesday, Campus at Ocean on a Wednesday, DV8 at Walkabout on a Thursday, and Flirt and Climax at SU on Friday and Saturday nights.

Sports: Many sports clubs; SU gyms on both campuses. Locally two league football teams, National Ice Arena, Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, and the National Water Sports Centre.

Travel: Ticket express outlet and STA Travel on campus.

Jobs: SU employment store has wide range of opportunities.

Annual living costs: The minimum amount students say you need to live on each year (covering all living expenses but excluding tuition fees) is £5000 - though individuals vary of course.

Best features: Excellent library facilities, campaigning SU offering a range of opportunity and experience.

Worst features: Too much happening in the city, students are spoiled for choice!
