How to get there: By train (under 2 hrs from London Liverpool Street), by coach (school is 10 mins' walk from coach station), by road via M11 and A11; by air to Norwich International Airport.

Awarding body: Anglia Polytechnic University.

Main undergraduate award: BA.

Length of courses: 3 years.

Library & information services: 36,000 volumes, 110 periodicals, 2000 videos, 60 study places; 165,000 slides. Annual expenditure on information provision, £26 per (FTE) student. IT and library services converged. IT facilities open 8 hours/day; support from workshop manager and technician. Tour and induction to library and information services for new students.

Study abroad: Formal exchange links with various universities and colleges in Europe, USA, Japan.

Student advice & services: Student counselling service available.

Amenities: SU bar, refectory, shop.

Accommodation: 30% of first years in school accommodation. 100 self-catering places available (all for first years) at £60-£85 per week, either term time only or Sept-July. Most students live in privately owned accommodation for whole course: rents £50-£60 pw for self-catering.

Living expenses budget: No School-recommended minimum.

Term-time work: School allows term-time work for full-time students. Some work available on campus in library and gallery supervision.

Financial help: Government funds: special help to those with dependants, self-financing students or those with medical expenses, course materials costs etc.

Tuition fees: Home students up to £1200 pa for first degrees (in 2005). International students pay £7500 pa.
