St Mary's College - Student View

It's set in tranquil surroundings consisting of a beautiful 18th century castle and grounds in southwest London. Accommodation for nearly 600 students within 2 minutes' walk from the heart of the campus.

Students from a wide variety of backgrounds study a range of courses - main ones are sport science, drama, biology and media.

SU aims to ensure a fair deal for all students as well as encourage the highly sociable ethos it is famous for. It organises most of the events from Christmas and Summer ball, freshers' week and rag week to regular Wednesday and Friday nights in the SU.

Combination of numerous local pubs and an atmospheric campus bar, with relatively good prices, ensures a good time is had by all.

College is also known for its sporting prowess (BUSA finalists in men's rugby and women's hockey amongst others) and has many clubs and societies to cater for everyone's needs.

It prides itself on cosy ambience and close community - something easy to achieve with such a small and active community.
