London School of Theology - Student View
An interdenominational evangelical centre for undergraduate and postgraduate theology. Its academic record is impressive due to both the high standard of teaching and characteristic dedication of students - the vast majority has a real desire to learn.
It's an international community: around 25% of students are international, many studying with english as their second language. Roughly a third of students live on campus - a spacious site in the suburb of Northwood - just 30 mins from central London.
Reasonable on-site facilities include a sports pitch, tennis courts, laundry and student centre which has TV rooms, gym, kitchen and games room. The college embraces new technology and boasts an outstanding level of hi-tech equipment for student use; all rooms have points for both advanced phone system and high-speed Internet connection.
Good music facilities form part of the 'theology, music and worship' course. As well as the more traditional theology degrees, 'theology and counselling' is offered to keep up-to-date and equip the church with trained Christian counsellors.
Excellent library facilities; well-stocked by the prolific authorship of the LST faculty. Student-faculty relations are excellent; the faculty are friendly and approachable.
Confidential pastoral support provided. The college has a warm and friendly atmosphere, with mutual respect and encouragement.
