St Martin's College Lancaster Campus - Student View

A very friendly campus, only a mile from Lancaster, which has usual high street stores, great little boutiques and specialist shops; also pubs and restaurants for all tastes and great places for theatre, music and films. It's close to coastal and countryside activities, including Lake District, and 60 miles from Manchester and Liverpool.

Seven halls on-site (all with irons, kettles etc); self-catering residences are in town, 15 mins' walk from college.

Campus has medical centre, laundry, TV lounges, coffee bars, bookshop and SU shop (stationery, food etc); 2 bars sell alcoholic and soft drinks at cheap prices.

Active SU campaigns on student issues runs student advice centre, organises entertainments eg themed nights (balls, quizzes, karaoke, visiting bands etc); also runs successful sports clubs and societies. Great sport facilities: Addison sports complex with multigym, astroturf and access to university facilities.
