Ravensbourne College - Student View

The town is quiet, with few local pubs although they are some decent, friendly places to socialise.

College has a good atmosphere. SU bar is packed on Thursday event night: puts on bands (Indie to R&B, funk to jazz and house), all kinds of discos and fancy dress extravaganzas. Main attraction is the cheap beer, happy hours, and a friendly atmosphere; there's also a film club.

Easy access to London (only 15 minutes by train). Bromley is close, with pubs (not too bad) and leisure centre; nice, not too expensive.

College very relaxed until degree shows approach. Good reputation in industry. Because of small number of students, there's a lot of inter-departmental co-operation and everyone gets to know one another. Counselling tutor on hand 2 days a week.

SU small but ambitious; active politically as well as socially. At Ravensbourne you get out what you put in!
