Housing: Not all 1st years in college housing but college has accommodation list; also look in Bromley News Shopper and estate agents.

Eats: Good, cheap food in canteen eg £3 for a filling hot lunch; vegetarians well catered for. Fox & Dragon good thai and pub food (£3+). Chislehurst good for bars, cafes (excellent sandwich shop).

Drink: £1.70+ a pint in SU bar. Wetherspoons in Bromley also good.

Nightlife: SU event nights, cheap entry (sometimes free). Film club. Not a lot outside college - only cinemas and pubs - but central London close with all big names.

Locals: Fine.

Sports: No on-site sports. Excellent sports centre in Bromley, 10 mins by bus.

Travel: Good bus and trains - night buses from London.

Hardship fund: Access fund available once a year - only given to those who really need it.

Jobs: Local shops and bars; also Bromley and central London.

Best features: Friendly atmosphere, great ethos.

And worst: Limited access to local social events.
