Kent Institute Maidstone Campus - Student View

It's a purpose-built 70s building with some new additions, in a pleasant park within walking distance of the town centre. Halls are midway between town and college.

Illustration, graphics, photography, video, animation and further education are at Maidstone; high standard course facilities eg studios and IT kit. Well-stocked library, specific to art and design; if it hasn't got what you need they can probably get it in.

Small and friendly campus so everyone knows everyone. Large refectory and fully-licensed bar.

Students have highly subsidised use of huge local sports centre and there are organised sports teams at the institute. Lively social life - Maidstone is known as the clubbing capital of the south-east. Large number of international students, so there is a diverse group of people. Courses also offer foreign exchanges which have had good feedback.
