Housing: No halls; student services has accommodation list, £65-£80 pw for single room.

Eats: Campus canteen pricey. Many restaurants in towns to suit all tastes and budgets.

Drink: No SU bar; local pubs/bars (£1.80 a pint at Wetherspoons).

Nightlife: 2 nightclubs, snooker clubs, cinemas, theatres, bowling alley, arcades. Load of Hay pub (Watford) and Spritzers Nightclub (St Albans) for LGB students.

Sports: Free sports facilities at Leggatts Campus: student rates at leisure centre next door.

Travel: Close to M1, M25, underground (5 mins from Hempstead Road Campus) and railway (Watford Junction 10 mins). London 20+ mins by car.

Financial help: Student services and SU very supportive to those in need.

Jobs: Bar and shop work available in Watford and Hemel (but may be unsociable hours); most £5+/hour. Vacancy list from student services.

Best features: Location of all sites close to amenities and entertainment.
