Revolutionary de Havilland campus recently opened, just 10 minutes' walk from the College Lane site; this is home to the Hertfordshire sports village - state-of-the-art complex, with 25-metre swimming pool (with moveable floor), superb sports facilities, climbing wall, health & fitness centre and outdoor pitches.

College Lane site has all the SU facilities: 2 refurbished bars (the Font Bar, a nightclub, and Ele house, a friendly bar); a shop, travel agents, residential lettings, employment service. advice and support centre. UHSU also offers 36 clubs and 14 societies catering for all abilities, ethnicities, religions, hobbies and interests.
