Manchester Met University - Student View

A big university and part of the largest higher educational campus in Western Europe.

The Union @ 99 Oxford Road, 5 minutes from city centre, acts as central point for student activity. It runs two bars (incorporating games room, pool room and Internet access), a nightclub (K-two), 2 catering outlets, shop, cash services, mobile phone shop, Endsleigh Insurance, printshop, as well as a Student Advice Centre, PULP magazine, activities centre and all social and entertainment events.

MMSU student advice centre and student services provide free and confidential services to help with legal, personal, financial and course related problems.

Athletic Union provides 70+ clubs on two sites and encourages fun in the bar and on the field; multitude of societies cater for many tastes and have something for everyone including long-running lesbian, gay and bisexual group.

Manchester is a vibrant and diverse city with large student population. The university has many vocational, specialised and interesting courses.
