Camberwell College of Arts - Student Life
Housing: University halls, some quite close (B&B or full board). Some flats available through college; rented accommodation expensive but available.
Eats: College canteen. Seymour's Sandwich Shop (scrummy sarnies, fresh homemade soup; always a veggie option); Tadim's Turkish Bakery (lots of calorific pastries, biscuits and cakes); Camberwell Carrot (claims to be the only organic vegan and veggie cafe in south London; not too pricey, fresh food daily, delicious breads and cakes).
Drink: SU bar cheap but shuts relatively early. Most students then go to The Kerfield or Hermit's Cave (both Camberwell Green).
Nightlife: SU provides entertainment and Camberwell is very close to centre of London.
Sports: Sports centre 5 mins away in Peckham. 2 mins swimming pool. SU football team.
Travel: Some college trips abroad: possibility of exchange trips to America.
Financial help: Some access funds.
Jobs: Part-time work not difficult to find in London if you don't mind what you do. Jobs in SU bar, helping at SU and college events; lots of voluntary opportunities.
