Eats: College refectory - good food, great variety, nice surroundings, reasonable prices (meal £2-£5). Also restaurant and a coffee/lunch bar on campus.

Drink: College bar - nice, panelled and reasonable prices (£1.60+ a pint).

Nightlife: Student centre organises theatre trips, etc. One of the most exciting cities is at your feet.

Sports: On-campus tennis courts (2 grass, 1 hard), fitness centre, basketball court. Football pitches in Regent's Park.

Jobs: About 5% work part time in term (most get sufficient funding linen parents or corporate sponsorship); limited number of casual jobs on campus. Approx 25% work placements are paid.

Informal name: EBS.

Best features: Location; international student body.

And worst: Too many mobile phones.

Good news: Internet cafe opened.
