Plymouth University Plymouth Campus - Student View

With over 28,000 students the university is one of the biggest, and most dynamic. The Students' Union is thriving and multi-campus, based mainly at Plymouth with small campuses at Exeter and Exmouth. It works as a single union, to improve services and facilities for all students and give those at the smaller campuses easier access to main events and resources.

Plymouth campus is in the middle of Plymouth with easy access to the town centre, shops, pubs and clubs.

SU is in the middle of campus, with four bars (Ignition, Illusion, small bar and outside roof-garden bar, for when it's too hot to study). Special student nights arranged with some of the major nightclubs, and its own nightclub twice a week; it's a busy, thriving centre for all things studenty.

Also has over a hundred clubs and societies (including juggling), so virtually every aspect of your leisure time is covered. Rest of the week is a hectic schedule of quizzes, bar footsie (stock exchange on drink prices), film nights, bands, DJs, comedians and special talent. Union has its own shop.

Exeter has easy access to some of the best shops and nightlife in the south west. All campuses employ students; jobs relatively easy to come by. Excellent welfare provision accessible to all students and a reliable Nightline service.
