Housing: Good campus accommodation. Approved lodging system off-campus (letting agencies, notices everywhere).

Eats: Adequate campus dining-in scheme; snack food through SU shop; meal £2+ on campus. Wetherspoons. The Mutley Crown, Goodbody's are good (£5-£10); loads of cheaper places.

Drink: 3 SU Bars (SUB). incl late bar, Cafe Del Rosa serves hot drinks and alcohol (licence till tam Weds & Fris); very cheap, pint from £1.50. More variety in city centre.

Nightlife: Very good on-campus entertainment. Off campus, clubs eg Walkabout and Destiny, C103, Dance Academy (with major DJs), pubs with live entertainment.

Locals: Plymouth as a whole is friendly.

Sports: Good training and fixture facilities on campus. Involved with BUSA (men's basketball national champions 2003/04).

Travel: Minibuses can be hired by the SU. Jobs: SU and sub bar employs 50+ students part-time; plenty of work in city centre.

Financial help: Access to Learning fund.

Best features: Its small size and friendly atmosphere.

And worst: It rains too much!
