Library & information services: Main learning centre at Kedleston Road; 323,000 volumes, 2000 periodicals, 1700 study places. Annual expenditure on information provision, £59 per (FTE) student. IT and library services converged. Internet access from all workstations; access to IT facilities 24 hours/day if cabled (by subscription).

Other learning facilities: Multi-media and graphics centre.

Study abroad: 3% students spend period abroad. Formal exchange links with some 5 EU universities and colleges.
