Housing: All students guaranteed university-owned accommodation for first year. Good deal of private housing available in Penryn and Falmouth; rents typically £50-£60 per week.

Drink: SU bar.

Nightlife: Some big acts in bars/club on campus and expect more. Lots of live music, good bars and clubs in Falmouth. Larger bands and theatre companies visit the Hall for Cornwall in Truro.

Sporting facilities: Outdoor activities (surfing, rock climbing, scuba-diving and gliding). Main team sports include rugby, football and hockey (men's and ladies'); all in county leagues. On campus health and fitness studio; classes eg martial arts, table tennis, exercise to music and yoga.
