Housing: Halls comparatively cheap, available for 2 years. Limited off campus, help from welfare officer or student services.
Eats: Meal £2+ in bistro on campus, £5+ for indian or chinese in Warrington. Range of ethnic restaurants; various delivery places.
Drink: SU bar is cheap (lager from £1.40/pint). Some student nights in town; Eddisons, Barleymow good and cheap. Tetley and Greenalls local brews.
Nightlife: SU bar and venue (student bands and DJs). Close to Manchester and Liverpool.
Locals: 6/10. One club is no-go area for students.
Sports: Sports hall and fitness centre on campus.
Travel: Two main stations in Warrington for access across the country; close to M6; Manchester airport reasonably close.
Financial help: Limited, but available from college.
Jobs: Mainly bar work, some ents and DJ work.
Best features: Small, friendly community.
And worst: Too many roundabouts!
