Housing: Rent in college £50-£70 per week; all rooms have phones and internet connections.

Eats: College food good (meals £3ish); 3 meals weekdays (weekends lunch only). Vegetarians catered for. Twice weekly formal halls popular.

Drink: Cheap college bar, open daily 9pm-midnight: £1.40 a pint.

Nightlife: All college events free. Weekly disco, live bands, ceilidhs etc.

Locals: Area safe for students.

Sports: Excellent gym and tennis court on site. Most sports supported.

Travel: Travel funds available. College good for contacts as highly international.

Financial help: Some from college; many more from university.

Jobs: In college bar, porter's lodge, kitchens, or around town.

Best features: Cosmopolitan atmosphere.

And worst: Apathy.
