Founded: 1885.

Admission: Primarily a graduate college but also admits some undergraduates over 21 and affiliated students. Applicants must offer evidence of recent study and ability to work at a high standard and may be required to take a written test at interview. Undergraduates not normally admitted to oriental studies, medicine (except 4-year graduate course), veterinary medicine or architecture.

Scholarships: A small number of bursaries and hardship funds available.

Library & information service: Reading room. Separate IT service, access 24 hours/day. Computers provided in all college rooms, with access to library and internet. Eating arrangements: Cafeteria system for all meals except 2 formal dinners a week.

Gate/guest hours: None; all students have keys.

Other college facilities: Sitting rooms, bar, television room, gardens. College has 2 boats and informal links with other colleges for field games and squash.

Accommodation: All undergraduates can be accommodated. Study bedrooms for 270+ students; several college houses nearby; rent £53-£70 per week.
