Quick Checklist
The smart students are the ones who start working on their employability as soon as they set foot on campus. If you want to increase your chances of job success, follow this checklist over the next three or four years:
- Don't restrict your options. Employers are happy to look beyond your degree discipline, so be ready to try different careers.
- Don't be fooled by stereotypes. It's crazy to reject what might he an excellent job just because you have heard that it is boring.
- Seek out work experience at every available opportunity.
- Broaden and deepen the skillset on your CV by getting involved in student societies and clubs.
- Start your preparations as early as possible.
